Class was live on April 14 and now RECORDED version is available Date: April 14, 2024 - Sunday Time: 13:00 - Jerusalem WHERE? online Zoom meeting HOW LONG? about 3 hours WHAT ABOUT RECORD? Class would be recored and if you couldn't join the live class, you would get a video within 24 hours. Recorded class would be sent to all students and the access has no time limit. WHAT IS ABOUT? In this class on mixing media of watercolors and graphic materials (ink, watercolor pencils) I would share with you my approach to painting trees. The main part of the work will be done in watercolor, but we will add materials such as liners and watercolor pencils. We will also use additional tools to create interesting and not banal lines and spots. Trees are one of my favorite subjects. Different types of trees, the rhythm of trunks and branches create unlimited scope for author's interpretations and compositional solutions. I will be happy to show you my approach to this story and share all my technical tricks. But art is far from just a technique. It is very important for me to create works that convey the impression of looseness, freedom and "non-finito" effect. And this is the approach that I would share with you at the class. To make it easier, first we would paint several study sketches, and then we would determine the palette, composition and create a final work.
